Cinder is a virtual influencer crafted by the creative minds at We Are Social Singapore. Born from extensive research, Cinder exists as a testament to the fusion of storytelling and technological innovation.

Cinder springs into the digital realm powered by state-of-the-art 3D creation tools and dynamic game engines. Rendered in real-time, she adapts seamlessly to diverse environments and platforms. Her life-like animations stem from a human actor using motion-capture technology, meticulously puppeteering a character model fine-tuned for virtual interaction. Facial expressions are captured with precision, thanks to advanced depth sensors, ensuring Cinder’s digital countenance mirrors the nuances of human emotion.

The 2022 Twitch subathon marked a pivotal chapter in Cinder’s journey, engaging viewers in a narrative of liberation from the metaverse. Alongside prominent Twitch personalities Zumi and Cherzinga, the event culminated in a 13-hour marathon, setting the stage for Cinder’s ‘escape’.

SXSW 2023 witnessed Cinder’s transition into the physical domain, hosting an innovative event, Cinder’s Cybersip. Here, attendees at Lustre Pearl on Rainey Street could converse with her as she navigated a virtual bar, mixing drinks with flair and diving into gaming sessions, blurring the lines between our world and hers.

Building upon Cinder’s digital presence, we have recently integrated the latest in AI technology to give Cinder a new level of autonomy. These advancements empower her with the ability to interact with audiences both online and offline. By harnessing sophisticated Large Language Models, Cinder can now engage in more natural, responsive dialogues. Coupled with advanced text-to-speech and speech-to-text models, her communication mimics human-like conversation, further blurring the lines between virtual and reality.
